The movie won the Oscar for the Best Achievement in Music Written for motion pictures and got nominated for Best Writing and Adapted Screenplay.
Also, it received 43 other nominations for prestigious awards such as the Golden Globes, BAFTA Awards, American Screenwriters Association, and many others. Definitely, one of the best biker movies.

Another great movie in our biker movies list. One week is one of those reflective movies that include a motorcycle road trip for the rider to know the real meaning of life. Micheal McGowan who is both, the writer and the director, made an extraordinary effort to come up with this masterpiece.
One week has won the Genie Awards in 2010 for the Best Performance by an Actor in a Leading Role. Moreover, it received two other nominations for the Directors Guild of Canada awards.

Once again, this is one of the best biker movies whose plot is a biography about a famous historical figure. This time, it’s about Burt Munro, a well-known motorcyclist who spent years building a motorcycle, looking forward t breaking a land speed record.
This movie is for all of the adrenaline junkies who love biker movies about land speed competitions. The featured motorcycle has achieved a world record at the Bonneville Salt flats during the 60s.
Did we mention that Anthony Hopkins is starring in this outstanding movie? Well, if that’s not appealing enough, then we would like to state the fact that this movie has won ten awards and got nominated for another six.
