It’s true that the Kawasaki H2 motorcycle was released in 2015. Yet, Kawasaki has a remarkable history of breaking the motorcycle market with powerful machines. The Kawasaki H2 is the successor of the Kawasaki H2 Mach IV that was released in 1972 to revolutionize the motorcycle manufacturing industry back then. The Kawasaki H2 Mach IV was equipped with a 3 cylinder 750 cc engine. It was called “The King of the Streets” during its production era which lasted from 1971 to 1975. This vintage motorcycle was able to travel a quarter mile from a static position in 12.0 seconds. Compared to other alternatives back then, that was literally insane. The Engine.

The supercharger installed in the Kawasaki H2 makes it one of a kind. It's well-known for its high efficiency of compressing air with a minimum amount of energy loss in the form of heat. The aluminum impeller of the supercharger combines strength, durability, and lightweight, which rotating at nearly 130,000 rpm and have a capacity of 200 liters of air/second into the engine.

The Transmission.

The Kawasaki H2 motorcycle is loaded with a MotoGP-Style Dog-Ring Transmission system that allows the racer to shift gear effortlessly. Also, a quick shifter is available in the transmission system which enables the rider to perform smooth and quick upshifts. This beast is loaded with a high-quality hydraulic clutch too with Brembo components.

The Suspension.

Kawasaki made sure to provide the rider with smoother rides along with the power. The Kawasaki H2 has the KYB AOS-II cartridge fork, which is totally adjustable for a more customizable riding experience.

The Brakes.

Massive power requires a reliable and strong braking system. When we talk about a reliable braking system we do mean Brembo brakes. The motorcycle has a 330mm Brembo semi-floating discs that are fixed by radial-mount calipers on its front wheel to provide its rider with the best breaking force. Moreover, the rear wheel has a 250mm disc that was carefully chosen to work in harmony with the front one.

The Rims & Tyres.

Since Kawasaki pays attention to every single detail when it comes to manufacturing. They made sure to load their Kawasaki H2 with a rear 200mm tire to transmit the power to the ground, and two aluminum star-shaped wheels for ultimate strength and rigidity.

Advanced Technology.

We won’t just stop at admiring the colorful and sci-fi gauges. The Kawasaki H2 has its own Kawasaki Traction Control system (KTC) which is one of a kind.

Also, the KTC prevents wheel slip, it has three modes that can be customized by the rider to choose the level of interference for each mode. Well, let’s say that the first major difference is a 100 HP. The H2 is a street bike with a 200 HP while the H2R is a track bike with 300 HP and endless power. Another noticeable difference is the price. The base price for the Kawasaki H2 is $25,000 while the Kawasaki Ninja H2R price is $50,000 (yeah, only double the price). Kawasaki made sure to produce H2 edition as a safer option as the H2R is really powerful for normal street use.
